Forum is a kind of discussion, where people can participate in discussions on different subjects and build bonds with each other. a) Structure of a Forum- Forum is organized into a finite set of general topics, is updated by a group of members and governed by a moderator.
b) User Group- Forums organize visitors and logged in members into user groups and the privileges are given to these groups. The unregistered users are called guest visitors and have an access to all the features, which do not require database alterations or privacy breach.
c) Posters- These are considered to be the driving force behind forum community. A poster can edit or delete his own post in some of the forums, while rights are reserved in others.
d) Moderator- These are the users of a forum, who are granted access to the posts and threads of all the other members. The purpose behind this is to moderate a discussion and also keep the forum clear by neutralizing spams and spambots. Only trustworthy members are made moderator of the forum.
e) Administrator- The administrator manages the technical details that are required for running the site. He can make wide forum announcements and change the appearance of a forum.
