Realtor is a person, who has acquired a license from state to work as an agent or a broker. The license is issued on the basis of minimum education, examination and experience of the applicant. The standards for this are set by the state.

a) Is the member of local board or association of Realtors.
b) Has the information of all the properties near your place.
c) Gives advices on how to prepare you property for the market.
d) Has already researched a lot on your property through public records.
